Heike Höpfner

Getting to know new languages and fascinating people and exploring foreign cultures, as well as helping others to do the same - this is what drives me in life. Here at das Seminarhaus I can support clients and trainers in their development and we can enjoy the progress together. I also enjoy taking on new challenges, whether it is developing new training concepts or implementing current learning theories.

Christina Bertheau

Senior Trainer

Senior Trainer

I have the best of both worlds in my combined role of Senior Trainer and Business English trainer. I get to train great people, mentor motivated new trainers and be part of a supportive team. This is why I love working at das Seminarhaus!

I love that das Seminarhaus continuously offers me the chance to teach extremely varied language classes and help professionals do their jobs even better. Through the insights into my students' jobs I also learn new things myself, every day. And while I appreciate the possibility to expand my own skills - be it through developing quality control measures, offering trainer support or designing train-the-trainer workshops - it is being part of a great team, where I find heartfelt support, that makes the job truly special.

Our trainers

We work with a team of 80 freelance trainers. Here, we introduce some of them to you: all of them are highly motivated and love to teach!

Oliver Samstag

English and German trainer for 20 years.

"I have spent most of my adult life coaching people, be it as a baseball and softball coach, as a lecturer at university, or as a language trainer at a variety of companies. My motivation is and always has been to help my students or players to achieve their goals. Very few things are as gratifying as the moment when it clicks, when the light goes on in their eyes, and when you can see that they can consistently do something they were not able to do before. It never gets old."
